Creator test payments and refunds
Version creator-test-2026-09-27-r2 · Effective September 29, 2026
Simulated payments only
Creator development testing uses Stripe Test mode. A successful test payment or refund moves no real money. Use the supplied test payment details, never a real card. An invoice's dollar amounts and tax are part of the simulation. Report any unexpected real charge to [email protected].
There is no required monthly Creator subscription. The one-time starter grants are 100 Build Credits and 200 Compute Credits in separate wallets. They do not renew monthly.
Compute top-ups and tax
When Compute purchases are available, declare personal or business use and provide the complete U.S. billing address used for the test. Review the credit amount, tax and total before confirming. The approved test configuration adds 6% tax to Kentucky purchases and collects no Kentucky tax on purchases sourced outside Kentucky. Tax does not buy additional credits and is not charged again as credits are consumed. Other credit products are not assigned this Compute classification automatically.
For example, 1,000 Compute Credits have a $10 pretax test price. A Kentucky test invoice totals $10.60 and grants 1,000 credits. Funding first clears any outstanding Compute balance. A tax or payment result that cannot be reconciled is held for review; do not assume an uncertain payment failed and begin a new purchase.
Optional Auto-Refuel
Auto-Refuel is off unless you enable it. When available, choose a trigger balance, refill amount, personal/business use and monthly maximum. Refills use the saved payment method and declaration. The monthly maximum includes tax. Disable Auto-Refuel in Credits to stop future refills; an already submitted or unresolved invoice still needs reconciliation. Auto-Refuel is not a required subscription.
Test corrections and refunds
Contact [email protected] with the invoice reference for a duplicate, incorrect or uncertain transaction. Test refund handling must reconcile the processor record, tax and associated credit balance; a processor refund alone does not establish that the wallet has been corrected. No real funds are returned for simulated payments or starter grants. Build Credit conversions for already-incurred usage and automatic Compute corrections, described in the test terms, are credit adjustments, not payments or refunds. This notice does not promise a particular refund outcome or waive rights for any future real purchase. Real payments require separately reviewed terms and authorization.
