Creator test acceptable use

Version creator-test-2026-09-27-r2 · Effective September 29, 2026 Read with the Creator test terms.

Use the test for lawful project development with synthetic project data and material you have permission to use. Do not upload other people's private information or production secrets.

Do not use Buildpane to distribute malware, steal credentials, defraud people, send spam, attack systems, evade account or spending controls, or infringe another person's rights. Do not publish pornography or sexually explicit content through Buildpane. This means material depicting explicit sexual activity or presented for sexual arousal; non-explicit medical, educational or similar material is not prohibited by this rule alone. The Creator test does not provide public app hosting.

Workspace internet access

A development Workspace can reach the internet only over HTTP and HTTPS (ports 80 and 443), through Buildpane's metered connection. SSH, direct database connections and other ports are not available. Do not try to get around these limits or the metering, for example by tunnelling other protocols, relaying traffic for other people or devices, or hiding the Workspace's traffic. Do not use a Workspace to scan or flood other systems, mine cryptocurrency, or run a public proxy or VPN. Internet access stops when the Workspace's funded allowance is used.

Locked development

When Compute Credits and Build Credits are both used up, development is locked as described in the Creator test terms. This is a spending limit, not an enforcement decision: you can still sign in, add Compute Credits when purchases are available and contact support. Attempts to evade the lock or other spending controls are a violation of these rules.

Enforcement and appeals

An operator-confirmed violation of the published pornography/sexually explicit content rule results in the site being taken offline and the account canceled immediately. Other abuse or security incidents may require restricted access while reviewed. An unverified report alone does not authorize account-data destruction. This rule does not authorize inspection of private mail.

You may appeal an enforcement decision within 30 days by contacting [email protected], identifying the account and decision and explaining why it should be reconsidered. Project data is retained privately for 30 days for appeals and appropriate exports. The site remains offline during review; access is restored if the cancellation is overturned. The review and outcome are recorded. Day 30 does not trigger automatic deletion. Restricted recovery is for permitted account-data recovery and review; it does not restore publishing or spending rights. Recovery remains subject to security, legal restrictions and verification of account ownership. Contact support for the available recovery process.

Nothing in this policy authorizes deletion of future account data without the complete verified archive required by the approved account lifecycle. An account cancellation, report or exhausted balance is not itself proof that archival or deletion has completed.
